Middle names are becoming more important than they used to be. They are sort of like a "second chance" to give your child a name they will love! Who wouldn't want a backup name??

It is not at all uncommon for people to choose to go by their middle name instead of their first name.

 

Here are a few examples:

- Aubrey Drake Graham is better known as "Drake."

- Walter Bruce Willis is better known as Bruce Willis

Christopher Ashton Kutcher is better known as Ashton Kutcher

- William Bradley Pitt is better known as Brad Pitt

 

The last 2 examples have first names that are on the list below... which further proves that they are better off as middle names. 

 

Here is a list of "safe" middle names that you can name your baby boy:


James -  The name James means "Replace." 


John - John means "God is merciful."


William - William means "Resolute protector."


David - David means "Beloved."


Peter - Peter means "Rock, stone."


Lee - Lee means "Dweller by the deer meadow; pasture or meadow."


Christopher - Christopher means "Christ-bearer."


Alexander - Alexander means "Protector of mankind."


Michael - Michael means "Like God."


Daniel - Daniel means "My judge is the Lord."

 

All of these names are nice as first names, but they make great "backup" names... just in case you drop the ball on the first name.
