Have you ever thought about naming your baby after a famous fish?

Probably not, but we found some famous fish with some nice "human" names! 

There are over 600 famous Disney fish but we compiled some of the most famous well-known fish of all time and we included the meaning of their names, some of which will be perfect for your little one. 

Dori being one of the most popular fish of all time, it is from the Greek origin and it has a great meaning. Check out our list of famous fish names below!

 

 

Albert- From the German origin, this name means "noble, bright, famous". He was a dogfish who was in "The Dreamstone".

Bruce- Means "Woodlands" from the Scottish origin. He was the Great White Shark in "Finding Nemo".

Don Lino- A Great White Shark from "Shark Tale". Don is of the Celtic origin and it means "dark stranger", Lino is of Greek origin and means "flax". 

Dory- From the Greek origin and it means "a Dorian woman, of the sea". She was the Pacific Regal Bluetang from "Finding Nemo".
